Bildbeschreibung: Due to the steadily growing demand, NMC saw the opportunity to expand and acquired new premises in Eynatten, Belgium. The company thus ensured its long-term operational development from its headquarters. With the acquisition of the English Kenmore group of companies in 1987, NMC widened its offering of flexible rubber insulation and strengthened its position in the field of technical insulation.

The industrial rise of NMC also included the founding of the American subsidiary, NOMACO INC., in the 1980s, which would later become financially independent. In 1988 the first decorative moulding elements from PS foam for interior decoration were produced. With these interior decoration products, foam mouldings became acceptable and gradually replaced costly and elaborate plaster decorations.

As the world's first company active in the area of foam extrusion to switch to CFC-free production processes, NMC today recycles nearly 100 percent of its waste and scrap polyethylene material and reincorporates it into production. More than ever, the environment is close to our hearts, and therefore, we have consistently implemented waste reduction as well as air and water protection.
